THey become more and more yellow as time goes
I'm pretty sure this is a male and a female
I have other terrapene but they were hidden somewhere when I tried to take a picture... Damn Terrapene! they're so good at hiding

Great , I like them aspecial the lighter one is a beautyful juvenile
Curious why you think its a male and female, this is very difficult to see on this age, and sometimes it takes for a female to lay eggs to be sure about the sex.
Do you house/keep them in summer outdoor and in winter indoor?

for this subspecie, males are very yellow whereas females often dark with small yellow spots.

It can be a mistake, but there is a high probabily that the dark one is a female, and the yellow one a male. Let's see when older...

I always wanted to find older animals, but they are very scarce in captivity in europe. Now, I'm happy with those 3.
